Have you always wanted to learn Chilean Cueca but never knew where to start?
Our Cueca Workshop is designed for people with no previous dance experience. Whether you’re preparing for Chilean celebrations, reconnecting with your culture, or simply looking for a unique cultural experience, this workshop will guide you from your very first step to dancing a complete Cueca with confidence.
By the end of the session, you’ll understand not only how to dance Cueca, but why we dance it.
What You’ll Learn
During this intensive workshop you’ll discover:
- The history and cultural significance of Chilean Cueca
- The meaning behind each movement
- Correct posture and dance technique
- Footwork and rhythm
- Handkerchief techniques
- Partner interaction and dance structure
- Traditional Cueca etiquette
- Tips and secrets to improve your dancing
Everything is taught step-by-step in a relaxed, supportive environment.
The Goal
The purpose of this workshop is simple:
Arrive with no experience… Leave dancing Cueca.
Our structured teaching method allows complete beginners to learn the foundations of Cueca in a single session.
Many students travel long distances to attend because this workshop provides the equivalent of several regular classes in one enjoyable experience.
Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome.

Whether you’re Chilean, Australian, or simply curious about our culture, this workshop is for you.
